TL;DR

These Joomer lights bring a playful orange and purple glow without needing plugs or batteries, thanks to the included solar panel and automatic on-off. Two strands total 80 ft with 240 LEDs give a dense, festive look that works well draped on porches, wrapped around trees, or woven through fall displays.

They are IP65 rated, so they stand up to typical autumn rain and wind, and the eight lighting modes let you switch from steady warmth to a subtle twinkle. If you are weighing options, the 2-Pack 98' ILLUMINEW 150-Count Orange Halloween String Lights $9.99 + Free Shipping w/ Prime or on $35+ is a strong bargain for pure orange length, but the Joomer set wins on color variety and hands-off solar convenience.

What People Say

Customers commonly praise the easy, tool-free setup and the convenience of solar operation, noting the automatic on-off is reliable. Many appreciate the orange and purple mix for Halloween displays and the number of LEDs for a fuller look. A recurring note is that performance depends on sunlight, so brightness and runtime can dip on cloudy days.

Versatility

Designed for outdoor use, these are ideal for porches, garden beds, trees, and outdoor parties; they also work on covered patios where the solar panel can still get sun. The multiple modes suit daily ambiance as well as brighter, decorative looks for Halloween or fall gatherings.

FAQ

How Do These Compare To Solar Options And Colored Sets?

If your top priority is price, the 2-Pack 98' ILLUMINEW 150-Count Orange Halloween String Lights $9.99 + Free Shipping w/ Prime or on $35+ is hard to beat and gives you long, classic orange coverage for very little spend. If you want mixed colors and hands-off operation, a solar set such as the Joomer Orange Purple lights at $14.99 adds purple tones and automatic charging, but you trade some length for extra LEDs and solar convenience.

Think about whether you value length and low cost or color variety and cord-free setup, because that will determine which option serves you best.

Are They Weatherproof And Safe To Leave Outside?

Most outdoor string lights are built to handle rain and typical fall weather, but you should confirm the product listing or packaging for an IP or water-resistance rating before leaving them out year-round. Protect any exposed plugs or connections from puddles and direct water, bring lights inside during heavy storms or prolonged wet, and secure cords so they do not sit in standing water; choosing lights with a stated outdoor rating gives you more confidence in reliability.

How Should I Install Them For The Best Results?

Test the lights and map your layout before you start hanging so you can spot weak sections and plan support points, and use clips or plastic hooks made for outdoor lights rather than nails that can damage the wire. If you go solar, position the panel where it gets direct sun for several hours and keep it free of debris for consistent runtime; if you use plug-in strands, use a properly rated outdoor extension and consider a timer or smart plug to automate nightly on-off.

Wrapping Up

If you want the lowest upfront cost and a straightforward orange theme, the 2-Pack 98' ILLUMINEW 150-Count Orange Halloween String Lights $9.99 + Free Shipping w/ Prime or on $35+ is the best bargain and keeps your setup simple. If you value color variety, solar convenience, and an IP65 rating for reliable outdoor use, the Joomer Orange Purple Halloween Solar String Lights provides two strands totaling 80 ft and 240 LEDs for $14.99 and includes ground stakes and a solar panel for easy installation. Choose ILLUMINEW when price and classic orange appeal matter most; choose Joomer when you want automatic solar operation, mixed orange and purple tones, and stronger weather resistance.
