TL;DR

The Shark Navigator ZU503AMZ is built for everyday cleaning across carpets, area rugs, sealed hard floors, stairs, furniture, and upholstery. Its self-cleaning brushroll helps collect pet hair without constant interruptions, while Lift-Away technology lets you detach the pod for easier above-floor cleaning.

That makes it useful for routine floor care as well as special jobs such as refreshing stairs, cleaning couch cushions, reaching shelves, or removing hair from tight corners. The sealed HEPA system is designed to trap 99.9% of dust and allergens inside the vacuum under the stated testing conditions, which is helpful if you have pets or are sensitive to household dust.

Swivel steering makes it easier to work around furniture, and the included pet crevice and upholstery tools cover many of the smaller cleaning tasks. At 15 pounds, it feels manageable for an upright vacuum, although the strong suction and swivel movement may take a little practice in smaller spaces. I would recommend it for households that want one corded vacuum for mixed flooring and pet-related messes.

The listing details supplied here identify the product as the Teal Navigator ZU503AMZ, even though the article title references the Navy AZ3002 at Amazon, so it is worth checking the exact model, color, and price before buying.

FAQ

Is This Vacuum Good For Pet Hair?

Yes. The self-cleaning brushroll is designed to pick up pet hair while reducing tangles, and the included pet crevice tool helps clean corners, stairs, cushions, and other narrow areas.

If you share your home with dogs or cats, you should still check the brushroll and empty the dust cup regularly for the best performance.

Can I Use It On Hard Floors And Stairs?

Yes. It is designed for carpets, area rugs, and sealed hard floors, with swivel steering to help you move around furniture. The Powered Lift-Away pod detaches for above-floor cleaning, making stairs, upholstery, shelves, and furniture easier to reach. Use the appropriate floor setting and avoid applying it to wet surfaces.

Is The Listing Really The Navy AZ3002 At $264.99?

You should verify the listing before ordering. The article title refers to the Navy AZ3002 at Amazon and the Shark Stratos with a HEPA Seal, but the supplied product details identify a Teal Shark Navigator ZU503AMZ priced at $179.99.

Check the model number, color, features, and current price on the product page so you receive the version you expect.

Wrapping Up

The Shark upright vacuum is a strong choice if you want one corded machine for carpets, hard floors, pet hair, and above floor cleaning. Its powerful suction, self cleaning brushroll, Lift Away pod, swivel steering, and sealed HEPA filtration provide useful whole home coverage, while the included tools expand its usefulness on furniture, stairs, upholstery, and narrow spaces. Its main limitations are the 15 pound upright form, relatively noticeable 80 dB operating noise, and the learning curve that can come with strong suction and swivel steering.

The 4.2 star rating from thousands of customers and five year limited warranty add confidence, but you should verify the model and price because the headline references the Stratos AZ3002 at $264.99 while the supplied listing details describe the Navigator ZU503AMZ in Teal at $179.99.
