FAQ

What tools are included in the 9-Piece DEWALT 20V MAX 5Ah kit?

I get nine cordless tools in the set: a drill driver, impact driver, reciprocating saw, circular saw, oscillating multi tool, angle grinder, random orbital sander, impact wrench, and LED work light. A 5Ah 20V MAX battery and charger are included as well, so I can start working without purchasing the basic essentials separately.

Is one battery enough for this DEWALT combo kit?

The included 5Ah battery is a useful starting point for household repairs and shorter projects, but I would add another compatible 20V MAX battery for demanding or continuous work. Since the kit includes nine tools, I may need to recharge between tasks if I use several of them in one session.

The shared battery platform makes expanding my setup more convenient.

Is the 9-Piece DEWALT 20V MAX 5Ah kit worth $749.00 with free shipping?

For me, the value comes from getting a broad cordless workshop in one purchase. The Brushless Power Tools w/ Battery & Charger (DCK921P1) $749.00 + Free Shipping package covers common jobs such as drilling, fastening, cutting, sanding, and grinding, along with more specialized work like automotive repairs.

I would consider it especially worthwhile if I need several of these tools, while someone who already owns many DEWALT 20V MAX products may get better value by buying only the missing tools. The set also includes a three year limited warranty, one year of free service, and a 90 day money back guarantee.

Wrapping Up

The DEWALT DCK921P1 is a strong choice if you want one cordless purchase that covers most everyday jobsite and home improvement needs. Its nine brushless tools include both general purpose essentials and specialized options, such as an impact wrench, random orbital sander, grinder, and oscillating multi tool.

The 6 1/2 inch circular saw can make single pass cuts through 2 by 4 material at 45 degrees, while the reciprocating saw offers a rapid 1 1/8 inch stroke for efficient cutting. The main limitation is the single included battery, which may require work pauses during intensive projects.

Even so, the 5Ah capacity, shared DEWALT 20V MAX platform, included charger, free shipping, and warranty coverage make this a compelling package at $749.00. With a 4.2 out of 5 rating from 16 customer reviews, it offers a practical foundation for you to expand over time.
