The supplied product listing identifies the specific model as a 63-piece 3/8-inch drive set priced at $59.98, so you should confirm the current configuration and price before buying.

TL;DR

The CRAFTSMAN VERSASTACK 262-Piece Metric and SAE Mechanics Tool Set with Hard Case $149 is presented in the supplied headline, but the listed product is the 63-piece CMMT45163 set priced at $59.98. I see it as a practical starter kit or a useful way to fill gaps in an existing toolbox.

You get 22 sockets, 16 hex keys, 22 specialty bits, a bit driver, and a 3/8-inch drive ratchet with a 5° arc swing. The slimmer ratchet head is helpful when you are working around tight engine bays, furniture hardware, or other cramped spaces. The hard case keeps everything together for home repairs, vehicle maintenance, weekend projects, and occasional jobs away from your workbench.

I would recommend it for anyone who wants a compact, organized set, as long as the advertised piece count matches the configuration you intend to buy.

What People Say

The available customer feedback is very positive, with the full rating suggesting satisfaction with the set's overall usefulness and quality. The compact case, broad mix of sockets and bits, and low-profile ratchet are the features most likely to appeal to buyers who want an organized starter set.

Since the rating is based on only one review, I would treat it as an encouraging signal rather than a broad consensus.

Built To Last

The alloy steel construction, polished finish, and ASME specification claim give me confidence that this set is built for regular household and light automotive work. The full lifetime warranty adds useful reassurance if a covered tool eventually needs replacement.

This set is easy to keep ready for routine jobs such as tightening fasteners, assembling furniture, maintaining bicycles, or handling basic vehicle repairs. FAQ

Is This Really a 262-Piece Metric and SAE Set?

The supplied product information identifies the item as the CRAFTSMAN VERSASTACK 63-Piece Mechanics Tool Set, model CMMT45163, rather than a 262-piece set. It lists SAE as the measurement standard, so you should verify the exact piece count, metric coverage, and package contents before buying the CRAFTSMAN VERSASTACK 262-Piece Metric and SAE Mechanics Tool Set with Hard Case $149.

What Is Included In The Set?

You get 22 sockets, a 3/8-inch drive 72-tooth ratchet, 16 hex keys, 22 specialty bits, a bit driver, and an accessory. I see this as a useful starter or supplemental set for basic vehicle maintenance, furniture assembly, household repairs, and other everyday projects.

Is It Suitable For Tight Spaces And Regular Use?

Yes. The ratchet has a 5° arc swing and a low-profile head that is up to 25 percent thinner than the referenced CMMT81748 design, helping you reach confined areas. The alloy steel construction and full lifetime warranty add confidence for regular home and light automotive work, although you may need larger or specialized tools for demanding professional repairs.

The CRAFTSMAN VERSASTACK set is a practical choice if you need reliable tools for routine mechanical work without assembling every piece separately. You benefit from a fine-tooth ratchet, useful socket and bit coverage, improved access in narrow areas, and a hard case that supports better organization. The alloy steel construction and full lifetime warranty add confidence for regular use.
