How Credits Work
Credits are the currency that powers your Roundups creation. Understanding how credits work helps you choose the right plan and maximize your content creation.
What Are Credits?
Credits are units that measure the computational resources needed to generate your AI-powered buying guides. Each time you create a Roundup, you spend credits to cover the AI processing, content generation, and optimization features.
How Many Credits Does Each Roundup Cost?
The credit cost for creating a Roundup depends on how many products you include:
- Base Cost: Every Roundup costs 100 credits to create
- Additional Products: For every product beyond the first 3, you pay an extra 10 credits
- Enhanced AI: Add AI data visualizations, you pay an extra 25 credits
Credit Cost Examples:
- 3 products or fewer: 100 credits
- 5 products: 120 credits (100 + 20)
- 10 products: 170 credits (100 + 70)
- 25 products: 320 credits (100 + 220)
Credit Cost Example With Premium AI output:
- 3 products or fewer: 100 credits
- 3 products or fewer: + data visualizations (100 + 25)
- 10 products: 170 credits (100 + 70)
- 10 products: + data visualizations (100 + 70 + 25)

What Happens When You Run Out of Credits?
When you reach your monthly credit limit, you have several options:
- Wait for Reset: Credits refresh at the beginning of each billing cycle
- Upgrade Your Plan: Get more credits by upgrading to a higher tier
- Purchase Top-Up Credits: Buy additional credits that don't expire
Top-Up Credits
Top-up credits are additional credits you can purchase separately from your subscription. These credits:
- Never Expire: Unlike monthly credits, top-up credits are yours forever
- Are Used First: When creating Roundups, top-up credits are spent before your monthly credits
- Perfect for Busy Periods: Great for when you need to create extra content beyond your monthly allowance
Credit Usage Tips
To make the most of your credits:
- Plan Your Content: Think about how many products you really need before creating a Roundup
- Start Small: Begin with 3-5 products to keep costs low while you learn
- Batch Your Work: Create multiple Roundups in one session to better track your usage
